Death's Deal

Michael Andrews was a high school senior preparing for graduation. Death had other plans… The man’s long coat flapped in the wind as he leaned over Michael and placed a long-fingered, pale hand on Michael’s chest, over his heart. Michael struggled to get up, but the man effortlessly held him down on the ground. The man leaned close to him and Michael whimpered as the man whispered in his ear, "Remember, our deal.
