Saint Gregory of Neocaesarea, also known as Gregory Thaumaturgus or Gregory the Wonderworker, (ca. 213 – ca. 270 AD) was a Christian bishop, a Church Father, and a pupil of Origen.
This exposition of faith, written between 260-270, makes clear his views on the Trinity, and the confession is a development on the premises previously laid down by Origen, stating clearly the distinction between the Persons in the Trinity, and emphasizing the eternity, equality, immortality, and perfection, not only of the Father, but of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Of great interest to anyone undertaking a study of the Christian faith or exploring beliefs on the nature of the Trinity.
