The hard truth that we as a people must come to know in order to begin the work of healing, is that leaders are hurting. The truth is leaders come under great attack, scrutiny, and pressure. Getting put in a leadership position doesn’t create emotional wounds it only exposes what is already there. Ideally, before being given a position of authority, a title, and a platform one should have been prepared, healed and developed first. Part I of the workbook is meant to focus on identifying the problem, signs, symptoms and root causes of brokenness in leaders.
