The poems in \223A bird flying North\224 were written during the three years leading up to a major illness. Only some of the poems are autobiographical in nature. Most are just thoughts and observations on life, humans, and the world in general.\015\012\015\012The title of this collection is derived from a poem of the same name where I compare humanity to \223\205a bird who has broken the flock/and now flies wildly into storms and rain\205.\224 This poem expresses well how I\222ve felt the last three years; like a bird flying north.
