h2g2: Earth Edition - Space and Space Travel

We have some wise words for you from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition - not only on how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big space is, but about the questions that occupy Earthlings when they look up at the night sky. Just what are all those bright lights out there? Can I get a better look at them? Could somebody maybe go out there, and send us a postcard?
