The Hypocrisy of Evangelical Support for Donald Trump

This book exposes the hypocrisy of evangelicals who support Donald Trump. Trump is compared against Scripture the supposed standard by which the lives of evangelicals are governed. Since Trump falls miserably short of what the scriptures require of leaders, the hypocrisy of evangelicals who supposedly follow the Bible is exposed because of their support for Trump. Many passages are used to expose Trump and his evangelical enablers from both the New Testament and the Old Testament especially from the Psalms and Proverbs. Examples from news events during the Trump presidency are provided as illustrations with relevant passages of scripture to demonstrate these points. Evangelicals place great emphasis on the relatively scant support in scripture for anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQ views compared with the multiple volumes of scripture which condemn Trump's lying, racism, and illicit sexual behavior. This book is written for the masses rather than the scholars so the author is very straightforward.
