Bradley Frost is a twelve-year-old boy that loves playing practical jokes on others. The idea of making them feel horrible makes him happy. After he successfully plays one on the Buttercup Twins, he cheats to answer his teacher's question. This annoys Mr. Teacher so he angrily blurts out that Bradley needs to stop or the monster, Big Edna, will come for him. Bradley laughs at that real hard. That night he gets the whole house to himself and loves the idea of being home alone. Sadly, it's on a dark and stormy night and the power goes out. As Bradley ventures to the basement to reset the circuit breaker he realizes he's not alone. He gets the fright of his life when he learns Big Edna is real.
