Ghost Dance tells the stories of several people in Las Vegas between March 29th and April 20th, 1999; some of them real, some fictional; some of them residents, and some just passing through. Many of their stories overlap, but to no real effect. Some of the stories involve graphic scenes of rape, torture and murder, which some readers might find troubling or offensive. Much of the writing is experimental, confusing, difficult to read, which some readers might find troubling or offensive.
