Strange Work is a verse by verse commentary on the Bible book of Revelation. Nearly three millennia ago, the prophet Isaiah predicted that the Lord God of hosts would one day rise up and do a strange... More > work on the Earth. He said it would come as a destruction upon the whole earth (Isaiah 28:21-22). The last thing that modern man expects is that the true and living God will one day actually intervene upon the Earth. Yet, with one voice, the prophets of the Bible predict that is exactly what He will do. The book of Revelation is the most detailed of the Bible's prophecies of that fast approaching supernatural intervention on planet Earth. Someone has dubbed the book of Revelation, "The prophetic Grand Central Station of the Bible." That is a very good way to describe it. All the great eschatological (end time) themes in the Bible run to the book of Revelation like train-tracks to a central hub.< Less

This commentary presents an inter-textual reading of Daniel that places the Temple and eschatological Atonement at the center of the book's theology and traces the influence of Daniel’s... More > theology in the NT. A failure of exilic prophetic interpretation inspired a failed attempt to restore the First Temple under Cyrus. Daniel ignores the reign of Cyrus and proceeds directly to the conquest of Babylon by Darius Hystaspis (Darius the Mede). Daniel’s history is subordinated to his theology. The initial setting of Babylonian First Temple destruction and Persian era restoration is supplemented by Antiochene desecration and Maccabean rededication of the Second Temple resulting in an already/not yet realization (apocalyptic moment). Daniel’s enigmatic numerical time periods are not Maccabean era inventions or ex eventu prophecy as they represent supra-historical realities based on intervals between the destruction of the Temple on the ninth of Ab and prominent Jewish Feasts in the lunar Jewish Festal Calendar.< Less
Atzmuss and the Status of the Torah in the Messianic Era By Max Kohanzad
eBook (PDF): $0.00
M.A Jewish Studies final Dissertation (Summer 2000) In Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson’s view of redemption, the normative duality and distinctions between God and the world are swept away by... More > a revelation of God, which is beyond traditional definitions. This new and monistic aspect of God is called Atzmuss. In the revelation of Atzmuss these apparently divergent realms become indistinguishable; Man, God and the world become one thing, and the role of the commandments therefore become questionable, if not unnecessary. It is the function of both the Messiah and the new Torah to reveal Atzmuss and therefore transform Judaism into its ultimate eschatological conclusion from a ‘doing’ religion, which attempts to fix a broken world, into a ‘being’ non-religion which accepts the world as it is as being perfect.< Less

More > behind the mask of Babylon the Great, as it establishes as well how and why there need not arise another foot to fill the shoe of this eschatological role, given that one already exists in exact conformity to Babylon’s description, in every detail. "How to kill a Super-Power" discusses at some length, history, current events and technologies (Pandora’s Box) that all coalesce so as to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Babylon the great is not Babylon, Iraq rebuilt by the beast or anyone else. "Trojan Horse: The Fifth Column" recognizes that in order to affect so colossal a collapse—within the shores and boundaries of mighty Babylon—some of the most advanced and technologically superior early warning and security equipment/systems on earth must be compromised, breeched, and thereby effectively circumnavigated.< Less
