Fighting For The Title

The main character Avana, a ten-year-old living in sunny Miami, Florida, is thought of as a scholar on and off the court. Her team, The Pinkies, are going head to head against the defending state champions, the Squashers. Avana is playing the number one seeded player Sarah and noticed something strange about how she was playing. After some investigation, they noticed something odd that stopped them from finishing the match. Avana's struggles in history, and last week, Avana failed her history test and was forced to re-take it the following day; Avana needs to balance schoolwork and squash while still staying on her A-game.
