I stood up, and waited for him to come. That’s the only thing that seemed to work so far. He swung for my face, but I was, luckily, able to pull my head back a fraction of a second before his sword was where my face was. The move had hurt me, though. I was hurting allover, and making sharp moves like that split open some cuts, Mainly, the one on the side of my face thanks to that kick by Jesse. He quickly followed up by jamming a fist into my stomach. I stepped back, and gasped for air, but he wouldn’t give up on me. He gave me a quick, sharp uppercut that sent me into the air, and I swear I could have been in that air for ten minutes if he hadn’t yanked my right foot, causing my head to hit the ground before the rest of my body.
