About malleyman

Ian studied History and Philosophy and has a Masters in English literature. He wrote the script for a television documentary on Oscar Wilde. He has worked, among other things, as a furniture mover, a security guard, a barman and a life-model. He's lived in Spain – in Barcelona, Madrid and Bilbao – and also in Rome where he worked in the Italian parliament. He's been a teacher, the Academic Director of a language school, an examiner and a teacher trainer. In sport, he has represented Ireland internationally at two European Championships and a World Cup in Touch rugby. He's been attacked by hyenas, once talked a friend off hunger strike over a cappuccino and tuna melt sandwich. (He later bought his friend lunch.) He once (unknowingly) made rice crispy buns for a murderer.
