Destiny

“Destiny” is an engaging account of the author Sheila Liu Chang’s as well as a considerable portion of her parents’ life. It parallels much of the history of the first half century of modern China. The book starts with the marriage of her Chinese father, who completed his advanced education in engineering at Edinburgh, to her Scottish mother Mae Brooks and went on to tell about their life in China and the author’s own marriage and life in America. This paperback edition contains personal photographs.
