Shelley Phillips's campaign, as Director of the Unit for Child Studies and the Foundation for Youth Studies was to put children on the public agenda in Australia though community seminars and research based publications making university research about children available to the community and encouraging input. This publication is a compilation of papers she wrote for the series of yellow covered "Selected Papers" produced for the Unit of Child Studies and the Foundation for Youth Studies.
