Sheshe Michael Sheane, 1994-Born in the former Sotho-Bantu stand known as Qwaqwa in the Free State, South Africa, and grew up in the Mountain Land (Lesotho). Growing up, it is safe to say that he was brought up well for the whole seventeen years of his young life. He returned to South Africa, Qwaqwa, to complete his matric in 2012 before moving to Cuba in 2013 via the Nelson Mandela-Fidel Castro Medical Collaboration Program to study for his dream career of being a doctor. Misfortune, as one may call it, struck in 2017 after an altercation with another fellow South African, which led to his incarceration and spending 3 years inside the big walls. During his imprisonment, he became his own friend and used words to express his emotions through poetry.
