Since 1985 to till now, the game has witnessed an unpredictable evolution. The game has changed from a recreational sport to a highly competitive sport. The game has been inspiring millions of players and fascinating uncountable viewers. Its peculiar nature to be adaptable to anyone makes it this popular. Hence, we have formats like indoor, outdoor, beach volleyball, sitting volleyball, snow volleyball and so on. The federation Internationale de volleyball (FIVB) the governing body of the sport estimated that 500 million people worldwide play volleyball at one level or another (FIVB, 1996). Increase in the viewership makes the game fast and power dominant or else vice versa.
