From Big Bang to Small Bang -The History of the Universe - With Special Emphasis on Planet Earth and Its Greatest Problem – Overpopulation – and Some of the Peculiarities of Its Inhabitants
An eyewitness account of the evolution of the universe, From BIG BANG to Small Bang is told by Yog, a quark. Quarks are the oldest existing particles. They know everything, since everything is made of quarks and electrons. Yog describes the formation of matter, of stars, galaxies, our solar system, our planet, of life – and eventually, humans, emanating from Africa. Being now part of an earthling, Yog knows the peculiarities of humans too. Yog determines the key event that distinguished man from beast. It finds that earthlings have overtaken biological evolution by technological development and predicts that evolution does not end with today’s Homo sapiens but continues towards a more rational being, Homo prudens.
Finally, Yog diagnoses the underlying problem on the planet: overpopulation by humans.
FBBTSB is written in plain language for average persons – from teenagers to pensioners. There are no formulae or diagrams. The text is livened-up by a series of cartoon-like sketches.
