Love Was the Excuse

''Toxic relationships are not always made up of psychopaths or people with psychological conditions or symptomalolgy. Toxic relationships can be made up of good people with bad relations.'' The story is set in Durban at the University of KwaZulu Natal during the years of 2015 to 2017 when Liyana Khumalo moves to Durban for her first year at the University of KwaZulu Natal. During her usual library sessions, she meets Ncumolewthu Zungu. She is extremely taken by Ncumolwethu but quickly regards their meeting as a random encounter with little meaning. Even though their stare lasted longer than it should have, they only exchanged two words, and then went about their lives. But little did Liyana know that, that encounter would be the beginning of a whirlwind.
