Delves Brougton of Doddington: Ebook Version

In 1908 Sir Delves L. Broughton, Bart, published the history of the Lords of the Manors of Delves, near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire and of Doddington, near Nantwich, Cheshire under the title, “Records of an Old Cheshire Family”. This is a photo-reproduction of that title, which is not restricted by copyright as the author died over 100 years ago. The author traces the Delves Family back to 1281. The Broughton Family, whose manor near Eccleshall in Staffordshire dates back to 1086 is also charted. This electronic version contains the same information as two similar titled print books published by Mercianotes but overcomes the technical problem of producing a full colour printed book at reasonable cost when only a limited number of small colour illustrations were used (depicting the coats of arms of the family members). This book is designed to be read on a computer screen or printed on A4 sheets at the readers’ discretion.
