The Homeless Diaries: Tales of a Broken Man explores toxic masculinity in 21st-century South Africa, where the dynamics are complicated by race, class, and identity in a constantly evolving society. The protagonist, Wolfgang Storm, grapples with his own identity, owing to a childhood that did not provide fertile ground for him to cultivate and embrace his Zulu heritage.
