Strange Beginnings: Adventures, Misadventures and More in Latin America

Follow the story of Shelley’s trip of a lifetime journey through Latin America. Alone, but never completely so, Shelley travels throughout Southern Mexico, through Central America and into the wild, unknown of South America. Climbing active volcanoes, hiking the deepest canyon in the world, cycling the most dangerous road in the world, visiting ancient Mayan and Incan civilizations, Shelley shares her experiences with the reader. Witnessing Shelley’s growth as she lets go of her inhibitions and experiences the trip of a lifetime, gives us all a sense that we do, one day, could sell our Suzuki Swifts and head out there to the great big unknown.
