Whimsical Magazine is a new independent fortnightly publication aiming to highlight and sublimize portrait photography in all its forms, envisioned as a work of art. Additionally to awesome and unique editorial or commercial portraits, every issue will consist of interviews and articles spotlighting talents, from every part of the world, who will inspire every photography and image enthusiast and stimulate you to excel in your art, in order to make you live your passion more completely. Passion, creativity, emotion and audacity are our 4 watchwords. Luise Lie-Bertig is the photographer behind the lens. Originally from Germany, she also lived for a few years on a sailboat in the Netherlands and lives now with her husband, her girl and a little hunting dog just outside Stavanger. Luise Lie-Bertig has a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Art & Music and have taught several years at both public school and the Waldorf School. She has also been self-employed after an additional education as a carpenter in the Netherlands.
