2006 Women Writers Reading

Women Writers 2006 is a collection of poems and prose by women across Maryland. Published by St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the collection includes poems and essays representing girls as young as age five and women as old as seventy-five. The aim of the collection is to illustrate writing by women from a variety of backgrounds, to give voice to the experience of women across ethnicities, classes, ages, and sexualities. Women Writers 2006 was produced in conjunction with Women Writers Reading, an annual event that serves as the culminating campus activity for Women’s History Month.
