Afro Indigo comes from the soul of black folks who have experienced the civil rights era, from the era when rap music, hip hop, and crack were injected into our communities in heavy doses. This poetry was manufactured on street corners, whore houses, gambling houses, crap games, gang bang'n, shoot outs, from love making...being loved in the ghetto.
These words are from real life...as real as it gets, then articulated with the many hues, heights, depths, sizes, textures and weight of Afro...then blue.
