'The Diary of a Carpathian Soldier 1939-1947' are the memoirs of a soldier of the Polish 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division covering the period from the September 1939 campaign, internment in Romania, the period in the Middle East, the Battles of Tobruk, Gazala and Monte Cassino.
