Astronomical Observations of a Lifetime is a ongoing journal of my observations of the sun, moon, planets, and night sky. In 2022 all the observations from Volumes One to Six were extracted and put into separate publications so that observations of similar objects are grouped together. For Milky Way these include all observations of deep-sky objects made from the 1970s through within or associated with the Milky Way. These include open clusters, asterisms, globular clusters, and various types of nebulae. These come from a number of catalogs with some in the prior publications on Messier Objects and NGC and IC. Additionally, there is a section on double and multiple stars with a number of these not found in the Washington Double Star Catalog. Most, if not all, are probably just optical. Observations of a handful of variable stars are noted, including the dimming of Betelgeuse in 2019-2020. There is a section on Carbon Stars, but is limited as this is a type of object the author got interested in rather late. For a number of single stars, colors are noted. Due to the length of this work no photos are included.
