He was Reverend Paul Wilson on Sunday and
whenever his congregation needed him, but the rest of the week he was Paul Wilson, the executive. This is the story of two weeks in the life of a Tentmaker – a bi-vocational pastor – as he struggles with his dual life and realities of raising a family, working at his job and caring for his congregation.
When an old boss calls him out of the blue with an
offer only a lunatic would refuse, Paul leans upon his faith in God to discern what is best for him and his family. He has prayed to find balance in his life, and maybe this new offer is God’s way of providing that balance. His family will be better off, but what about his church? What about his company? What about his soul?
