The King of Maicao

Armed with little more than a Spanish-English dictionary, mining engineer Ben Murdock travels to the savanna of Colombia to restore the operations of his company’s flagging coal mine. Plunged into a violent confrontation between corrupt government troops, left-wing rebels and desperate natives, Murdock finds refuge in the arms of a young woman - a free-spirited Colombian reactionary.
