Christianity recently has been under assault by Modern thought. Yet, this is nothing new. Every century for two thousand years has brought a new 'controversy' under which Christianity has had to contest and adapt. But, how do we know that after years of controversy that the Christian faith of Christ is the same Christian faith of today Clearly, one must look at these series of 'controversies' and ask, 'did the faith become compromised ' The objective look at these issues will expose an entirely different story than that reported by history. It will show that 'Modernism' is actually a very ancient philosophy - the very anti-philosophy Christianity always opposed.
