New Eden

Set in the small town of New Eden, SC, in the early 1900’s, this historically accurate novel features Thomas, a white boy from a privileged family, his autistic sister Annie who can conjure singing angels, and a mysterious baby named Emma, conceived from a rape, who has been sent to save the world. Together with Loretta, Thomas’s interracial lover, and four female disciples, the forces of good battle racial hatred and, if possible, heal those who espouse it.
