A "Sine" of the Times: Designing with Trigonometric Graphs

How do mathematical equations translate into physical form? What formulas are needed to create a work of art? Students in A “Sine” of the Times chose their inspiration, developed designs using oscillation graphs, and wrote reflections about how they learned to see math as well as themselves as mathematicians.
