Network Intrusion Detection and its Prevention in VoD Services: Concepts and Techniques

For the collection of the data we have simulated experiments in net-work simulator 2 as well as in omnet++. Both of the platform has some advantages and disadvantages over each other.Here, we have to study And analyse various underlying protocols of peer-to-peer net-work and video on demand services. After careful analysis of working and inter relation of all the relevant protocols, we have simulated real world like test-bed scenarios for the simulation. These simulations have helped collect various important data to understand of working of peer to peer based Video on demand services platform. Then we have created denial of service attacks by taking advantages of the se-curity loopholes in the underlying protocols and their interactions.
