Praying Through the Book of Revelation

BySue Ricker

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
I admit that I have been a bit intimidated by the book of Revelation. Great scholars and preachers don’t seem to agree on its prophetic interpretations and timelines; so I wonder how I can presume to approach this amazing book? Yet, within the first few verses of the first chapter of Revelation (v. 3) we read this promise: “Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.” It is my prayer that we be filled with the Spirit of the Lord—the same Spirit that spoke to John and all the faithful servants who recorded God’s words—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord, that He would teach us and guide our prayers.
