Susan Beall Summers has been writing poems since she was twelve. Most of her poetry is straightforward with a bit of humor or mischief and her style has been described as having “gentle sarcasm.” She’s influenced by her spirituality and love of the ocean. A lifelong Southerner, she now lives outside of Austin, Texas and travels frequently with her husband.
