Organizational Psychologist Tasha Eurich describes concepts from her book Insight: The Surprising Truth About How Others See Us, How We See Ourselves, and Why the Answers Matter More Than We Think. Eurich explains how knowing who we are and how others see us can lead to feeling confident, happy, successful, and fulfilled. Although self-awareness is necessary for the renewal of oneself, Eurich described the results of her research, “Our data reveals that 95% of people believe they are self-aware, but the real number is 15%,” she says. “That means, on a good day, about 80% of people are lying about themselves—to themselves.” This 12th book of the series exists to help you increase your self-awareness that can lead to renewal.
