Uncovered Secrets of the Mineral World

This is a story about the guardians of the forest, the Sasquatch. One in particular by the name of Squammy, who has been sent on a mission to transport a sacred crystal of the Sasquatch colony to a mountain-top. This will open an important portal so that a conception of souls can enter and help heal the planet. There is only one problem, Squammy’s way of navigating through the forest on Turtle Island is being tampered with by humans. First of all the forest is disappearing from logging, and second, there seems to be a substance inhibiting the network of living things, affecting Squammy’s heightened sense of vision. One night Squammy crosses paths with an indigenous boy who has had an accident and knocked himself unconscious. With its healing powers the Sasquatch helps the boy and ends up establishing a telepathic connection with him.
