Majma‘ al-Bayān fī Tafsīr al-Qur’ān is among the most celebrated classical Shi‘a commentaries, authored by the renowned scholar Abū ʿAlī al-Faḍl ibn al-Ḥasan al-Ṭabarsī (d. 548 AH / 1153 CE). Volume 2 specifically covers detailed exegesis of important Qur’anic passages, primarily from the latter part of Sūrah al-Baqarah (Chapter 2) and entire Sūrah Āl ʿImrān (Chapter 3).
