Crossing the Jordon

After a failed attempt 40 years earlier, the children of Israel finally crossed over the Jordan River. Now God tells us in Hebrews 4:1, “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into His rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.” It is your birth-right; don’t fail to fall short of entering into a permanent Sabbath Rest available to all of God’s people.
