Seven novellas about some of the many "smaller" inventions created by the teenage inventor, Tom Swift. These are the inventions that often get a little mention, and we are all supposed to just understand that they somehow work, and that Tom created them at some point. Each story uncovers to origin of one invention and tells the tale about how it really got designed and built in the first place. Some of them are mentioned in various Tom Swift Jr. stories (1952-1972) while some are from the newer "fan fiction" novels and short stories being created in the 2000's.
