Using Interpreters in Child Protection Social Work: A book based on a qualitative study involving child protection social workers

This book is based on a qualitative research study on the use of interpreters in child protection social work. The research study was undertaken by the author when studying for a Professional Doctorate in Social Work. The book presents background information on using interpreters in child protection social work and it explores the key findings of the research. The author draws on interviews he conducted with child protection social workers who have experience of working with interpreters. Key themes identified through the literature review and emerging from the research are also explored.
