Integrating Movement with Academics in Grades 6 through 8: A Waldorf Teacher's Approach

Many teachers and researchers recognize the vital importance of moving for the child's healthy development and learning yet feel ill equipped to bring movement games and activities into the academic classroom. In Waldorf schools teachers in the lower grades do this effortlessly, but under the pressures of increased academic content neglect to continue beyond grade 5 or 6.
