Stronger

Fairies are destined to be betrothed to someone at random, though most don't find their betrothed straight away.  At age 16, fairies begin to develop abilities, one a year until age 20 when they get their fifth and final gift from the gods and their wings.  Cayenne Blossom has struggled with her abilities due to the damage to the betrothed bond that Blaze Falcon has caused.  Blaze is next in line to become king of the Rosebrook Village, but he wants no part of the one that is betrothed to him until her final ability, beauty sets in.  Cayenne wants no part of being with Blaze and spends years waiting for her wings to come in so she can leave.  She's determined to leave Blaze behind her since there is no way to break the betrothed bond for a fairy and prove that she is stronger than her bond and stronger than he ever thought she was.
