
"Taro Hattori Recent Works" is the artist's portfolio that shows the selected installation works shown between 2001 and 2007. Taro Hattori received his BA in Clinical Psychology from Sophia University, Tokyo and his MFA in Time Arts/Video from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has also studied Theater Design at Rutgers University, New Jersey. He is the recipient of Kala Fellowship Award (2002), Djerassi Resident Artists Award, Taipei Artist Village Fellowship and others. Hattori's work has been exhibited at numerous venues, including Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco; Mission 17, San Francisco; Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito; Peter Miller Gallery, Chicago; the Chicago Cultural Center, the Asian American Arts Centre, NYC; the CEPA gallery, Buffalo; the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, Ssamzie Space, Seoul; and the Tokyo Art Theater.
