Each poem represents common themes experienced on the introspective journey to becoming the “greatest version of yourself”. First, understanding what that means to you and what it represents. Then, embracing the journey. And, after, accepting the changes and challenges that come alongside growth. Many of the poems are cyclical and highlight that: the more we grow, the more we have the inclination to look back towards the past for comfort. The purpose of this collection of poems (sonnets, sestinas, kwansabas, and freestyles) is to, hopefully, resonate with the journey you have to take to fine tune yourself to become your greatest version, and help you constantly rediscover what that is.
