In 1970 Nancy Cianci taught the author of this book how to write by using an IBM typewriter with a key guard when he was a patient in a long-term care facility. Within 6 months he was writing poetry. He stored his poems in 2 three-ring binders that he kept for 42 years. This book contains college poems written at McMahon Dorm at the University of Connecticut in 1981. These poems capture a time of profound sadness about how others view the author's severe cerebral palsy. On September 21, 2012 the author was disbarred from the practice of law of California. The comments in this book relate the poems to his experiences as a lawyer and as a hated person with a disability.
