Top Dog

It's opening night at Champion America, the nation's oldest dog show ... and the priceless antique, bejeweled trophy is missing!  Violet Murdoch just wanted to spend the weekend doing her job – photographing the Champion Afghan Desdemona, the Marquise of Susa.  However, due to a misconstrued and highly publicized argument, Desdemona's owner Lily Duquesne is the prime suspect in the robbery.  Now Violet and her husband David must infiltrate the sometimes hilarious and always competitive world of show dogs to try to locate the missing trophy -- which the real thief would kill to keep.
