Journey Through the Gospels

In "Journey Through the Gospels", The Foursquare Church reads through the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John with a renewed focus on the fourfold ministry of Jesus as first introduced by church founder Aimee Semple McPherson. Jesus, perhaps most essentially, took upon Himself the sins of the world as our SAVIOR, to restore our relationship with God. He fills believers with His power as BAPTIZER WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. He bore our sins, our pain and our infirmities as HEALER. And, He will exercise His dominion over the earth as our SOON-COMING KING. By reading a chapter a day over the course of a year, we can devote each quarter fully to one of these characteristics, enabling four complete readings. Readers will be amazed at how God makes the text new with each re-read when our focus on one overarching characteristic is shifted.
