THE INHERITANCE

THE INHERITANCE is the story of a young Nigerian woman who stood against her kinsmen, tradition, customs, norms and the society as a woman. It is a cultural thing for male children in the Igbo speaking part of Nigeria and other parts of the country to dispossess female children of their parents' properties. Female children are considered to only function as wives and children breeders when mature. they are seen as their husbands' properties and so can't inherit any thing from their parents. This book is a revolt against such demeaning tradition.
