This work is a condensed version of Aquinas' Catena Aurea arranged according to the lectionary readings for Sundays and Great Feast days in the Eastern Orthodox Church. It is the presented as an aid for Orthodox clergy and laity alike that would benefit from a Patristic commentary on the lectionary reading without having to sift through many volumes of collected works of many authors. This work can be a very useful addition to sermon preparation or bible study according to the liturgical calendar.
