HOLISTIC PEACE AND THE CREATIVE FORCE OF LOVE IN THE WORK OF MEDIAEVAL ANDALUSIAN SPIRITUAL TRADITIONS

This work can be considered a pioneering essay by the author in the field of transpersonal history. The attempt was made to compare and contrast three deep esoteric systems, Kabbalah, Sufism, and Christian mysticism in the tradition of Ramon Lull, and to examine something of their historical origins in the context of the Andalusian miracle of the convivencia of cultures which took place in Mediaeval Spain. This was the crucial place where the Mediaeval University was born (through Abelard, who got his Aristotle from Spain); this was where Adelard of Bath had been to learn advanced Arabic mathematic techniques.
